Time Is Flying By!!

things have been a little crazy for me and my hubby lately...this weekend we worked on the nursery and are trying to get prepared for the arrival of baby o'c. We are getting very excited and anxious with 43 days to go!! I honestly can't believe how fast the last 8 months have gone by. I am starting to get nervous and a little scared for what is to come, but i am lucky to have such a wonderful husband to make me feel better no matter what!! I feel bad though cuz all i have been doing lately is complaining about all my aches and pains and he tries so hard to comfort me, i think i need to just stop complaining and enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy.
They started a pool at my work to see when the due date is going to be....there have been a few people that think i am going to go into labor in a few weeks, on my hubby's birthday...but i think that may be to soon. I think i will go into labor in about 4 weeks. I just hope it doesn't happen at my girlfriends wedding on june 3rd...we will see! :)

9 weeks to go!!

Well my due date is 9 weeks away but it seems like our daughter may be here sooner than expected!! I have been very uncomfortable and having pains so i went to see my doctor today and she said it was heartburn and braxton hicks, but her head is in birthing position, so who knows if it will be next week or in 6 weeks!! I am getting really nervous now!! We still have so much to do before she arrives....i told my hubby that she can't come till at least her nursery is ready for her.....it's kind of our storage room at the moment!! I think this weekend i am going to work on it and clean it up. On Sunday my girlfriend is throwing us a co-ed baby shower...it will be fun to see all of our friends that we have not seen in a while. We were just in NY last week visiting my hubby's parents and they threw us a suprise baby shower as well, it was so much fun and so great to see all of his family. It's hard when both of our families are far from us, but at least we get to see them as much as we can! We are going to visit my family in vegas next weekend as well.

Well i guess we will just have to wait and see when she decides to show up!!

About 12 weeks away!!

Well, we will be meeting our baby girl in about 12 weeks....we went to the doctor yesterday and everything seems to be going well, except that i am now on a strict diet because of my weight gain. exactly how i am gaining all this weight i have no idea, i think i am eating less now than i ever did before i got pregnant, but i am not allowed to gain anymore weight so it's a lettuce diet for me for the next 12 weeks...hehe!! I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. On a brighter note...we painted the nursery this weekend...it looks so cute, it's purple and pink, i can't wait to have the nursery finished for her arrival!! it seems like the weeks are just flying by now. We have a busy few months and then before we know it she will be here.
My hubby has started to talk to her in my belly it makes me wanna cry when he does that it is so precious!! We went to babies r us the other day and bought a book and decided everyime we go to babies r us we will buy books so he can read to her. Even though i am the one carrying her i really want him to feel apart of it as well. well got to go back to work...have a great tuesday!

This is for my father in law.........since he believes my daughter will be a Yankee fan when she is born (he is so wrong!!) I wanted to let him know that i heard her whispering in my belly........

Sorry it's been a while....
My hubby and I have been really busy, we just moved into a bigger apartment this weekend so when our baby girl gets here we have enough room for her. the new place is really nice. I can't wait to get started on her nursery!! I'm so excited. My due date is 100 days from today!!! I feel like time is really flying by. she has been kicking and punching and moving around none stop...we even feel her hickup. I can't get over the fact that there really is a little baby growing in my belly!!
Work has been going ok. same old same old. I think the next month is going to be pretty busy for us. We are planning on taking trips to go see our families and then before we know it she will be here in our arms! Well i have to get started at work...hope everyone has a good day!!

Things having been going very well!!! I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow and i feel like our daughter is going to be here any day now, the weeks are just flying by. I can't wait to hold her in my arms. Last night my hubby and I were sitting on the couch with our hands on my belly and our baby girl was kicking and moving around for about 15 minutes and i almost started to cry. This is such an amazing experience and i'm glad that i'm feeling so much better so i can actually enjoy being pregnant.
My hubby and i have started to discuss what we are going to do as far as my job and living situation when our daughter gets here. This has been a topic that has really been stressing me out but hopefully we will come up with a decision soon. I am only able to take 6 weeks off work and then i would have to put her in day care. I am having a hard time saying ok my 6 week old baby can go spend 9 to 10 hours a day with some stranger and not me. I just don't think i will handle that very well. I honestly don't trust day care centers no matter what anyone says about them because i will have no idea what is going on there and if my child will be getting taken care of. I guess everyone feels different about it. we will see what happens. hope everyone has a good wednesday!!
